		<description>I agree--an amazing post. And it speaks to the fact that Congressional leaders often have no idea of the personal impact of the programs they support. Personal impact on teachers, that in turn nurtures and stimulates long-term growth in students. Most policy-making has a very mechanized approach to student growth and learning--but writing is a way of knowing.
