I recently presented a webinar for my publisher, Eye on Education, about some of the topics in my new book, ‘Tween Crayons and Curfews: Tips for Middle School Teachers.
It all started with a survey I conducted of my readers and those who follow me in my various social networks. I asked folks which were the Top 5 Skills (based on a list of 13 from the book) they felt students most need to know in order to be prepared for college or career.
Based on the results of that survey, I presented a number of strategies and lessons that could be used Monday and Someday in the participants’ classrooms. We also sent participants home with a shwag bag of handouts that they could use with their students and as future resources.
